Industry veteran brings two decades of experience including scaling multiple software companies to more than $100M+ ARR
TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 7, 2023 – Specright,, the leader in Specification Management software that helps customers take control of their supply chain data, today appointed Darin Wolter as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Wolter will oversee the sales and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and onboarding of customers on the Specright platform.
“We’re thrilled to have Darin join the team to lead Specright in our next stage of growth,” said Matthew Wright, Specright founder & CEO. “His experience leading revenue for category-defining software companies is critical as we bring Specification Management to companies around the world.”
Wolter has more than 20 years of experience leading sales organizations and has scaled multiple companies to more than $100M in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Previously, Wolter served as CRO at Pantheon, a high-growth software company that pioneered the new category of enterprise software called Web Operations (WebOps). Prior to joining Pantheon, Darin created, led and scaled global sales teams at Sysomos (acquired by Meltwater), Marketwire (acquired by Nasdaq) and StreetFusion (acquired by CCBN).
Specright’s rapid growth to date has been fueled in part by existing customers that benefit from deploying additional modules on the platform, reflected in the company’s net revenue retention of 155%. Typically, companies start with Specification Data Management (SDM) for packaging and then add on modules for product data, new product development, quality management, supplier collaboration and sustainability. Many companies are adopting Spercright’s platform in response to increasing global packaging legislation, which requires companies to manage data that typically lives with their suppliers, scattered across legacy systems, internal shared drives and spreadsheets.
“I am passionate about working with companies that are creating and leading big, new markets and Specright is doing just that,” Wolter said. “In just a few years, Specright has grown to more than 2.3 million products on its platform and is helping some of the world’s largest companies manage products we use every day. I look forward to bringing Specright to new markets and even more companies to ultimately help them make amazing, sustainable things.”
